White Christmas

It's drawing near to Christmas and the snow is starting to fall again. I must admit we did have a small nice break to dig ourselves out of the 16" of snow we got last weekend. So 4-5" doesn't seem all that bad! I'd rather not have to drive in it at all when traveling for the holidays but it's not really Christmas without snow. At least not in the Midwest. I'm looking forward to spending the time with family and friends that I don't see as often as I would like too. Even though my family is highly crazy and disfunctional, I always feel so refreshed after visiting. Maybe part of that is due to the awesome Tom Collin's my Grandma can whip up! I am hoping to be able to sit and relax and get ahead with my assignments. I felt like since I got such a slow start I would feel less overwhelmed if I can use some of my vacation time to do some homework. If not, I will just enjoy the holidays. I hope everyone enjoys their holidays, which ever one you happen to celebrate. Please try to remember the true meaning of Christmas. It's not really about presents. There was a letter to Santa once written by a child that said "You know your not the true miracle of Christmas. God is. No offense". But even if you are not religious, it's the season of giving.
